Mulberry Woods No 2!

Just had to make another one of these cards! This time I chose the little puppy in a box!
It's so very similar to the one before I have just added different pearlescent snowflakes which look gorgeous in the light as they shine with a hint of dusky pink to match the pinks and the browns of the card.

I hope you like it!

Christmas in Mulberry Wood!!!! Yay!!!

Oh my this is the BEST CD yet from Crafters Companion!!!!! Such adorable cute little animals, it was so hard what to pick to do first!!

I must say first I got this idea for my card from one of the Crafters Companion Design Team members!
I have used an 8x8 scalloped card base. Added to it Core-dinations from the "In The Family Pack" which now seems you can't get hold of anymore, such a shame as was fantastic! I have used my Eyelet Square die to cut the shape out the centre before I stuck it down and found some ribbon to to wrap around before doing this.   I then cut out the baby elephant decoupage and glittered it up, then I used one of the fabulous new borders, aren't they just the best!  Added a sentiment and silver snowflakes and a couple of gems.

Was feeling a bit out of sorts before doing this card, just couldn't get into making a card for some reason, tiredness I think, but yesterday I went along to Franki's she was having a demo day at her Craft Shop in Darlington and Louise Welsh was there who works at Crafter's Companion and she gave me loads of inspiration and now I just want to make Christmas cards with this CD for the rest of time!!!! LOL

Thank You Louise!!! x

"The Wanted" Card

OMG, haven't blogged in ages, to be honest haven't really been making anything but hopefully back on track now!

Here is my next Commissioned card for one of my daughters friends, Charlotte! This was going to be Manga but Charlottes mum text and asked if I could do the boy band one instead! So here we have it "The Wanted"!!
I used the Serif programme for pretty much everything on this and the envelope was made using one of the backing papers from The Adorables CD.
Charlotte was over the moon and her favourite one is in the middle so worked out really well!
Oh and it's going to be framed!!
