Last samples made for Crisalis Classics

Have you bought yours yet?

Here are my last 2 samples made for the Pick of the Week of Crisalis Classics and Paintbox Poppets, hope you are enjoying the shows!
Did you see Leann yesterday with Dean, the show was fantastic!! They were embossing envelopes "it's the future" was the saying and they looked awesome!

I have used the "Perfect Day" stamp for my 1st card. and layered up onto some Dark Centura Pearl cardstock and then used one of the Die'sire Embossing Folders - Regency Frame onto Pastel Centura Pearl cardstock. I stamped my image onto Die'sire "Magic Mirror" and drew around the outside of the die and cut it out to make a layer. Added a sentiment, bow and gems to finish off!

Spectrum Noir Colours Used:
Face - FS2, FS3, FS6 & TN2
Hair - GB2, GB10, EB5 & EB8
Skirt & Shoes - HB1, LV1 & LV2
Seat - EB1, EB2 & EB3
Hat - GB2, GB5 & GB9
Basket - GB2, GB8 & GB10

My next card I made using one of of the Frames from the Paintbox Poppets CD and again used the Regency Frame onto Centura Pearl card layered up onto some Pink Core'dinations. I wrapped Pink ribbon around the frame to give it a look of the ballet ribbon that is used to tie the shoes! Then layered up the decoupage.
Next I added a sentiment using my circle punch and some pearls to finish off

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my creations and that they have inspired you in some way!
Thank you so much for stopping by, please feel free to leave a comment as I love to read them!

Crisalis Classics Decoupage

Hi everyone! Oh Wow you are all loving these CD's, I'm sure I heard it was 65% sold!

Here is my card for today from the Crisalis Classics CD using one of the Decoupage Images!
I used Centura Pearl card from the Darks collection to matt and layer onto using one of the backing papers from the original Paintbox Poppets CD.
I have used a Border and Sentiment from the CD and distressed all the edges using Chipped Sapphire. I also used a Die'sire corner die from the Ornamental Flower Frame Die. To finish off I made a bow with 3 different colours, took a few times to get it right but did it all by hand, really pleased how it turned out!

Tomorrow I will blog my last 2 cards!

Thank you so much for stopping by, please feel free to leave a comment as I love to read them!

Launch Day of Crisalis Classics - POTW on Create & Craft!

Oh Wow what a launch of Crisalis Classics & Paintbox Poppets twin CD! Those stamps too are fabulous, so many stamps on one plate - a must have!
The artwork from Christine is just absolutely stunning, her pictures have me in such awe of her work!

Well here is my card today coloured in with my Spectrum Noirs!
I have used backing papers from the 1st Paintbox Poppets CD and then one of the Card Companion sheets from the Crisalis Classics CD. I have edged all the papers using my distress ink, bit addicted to that at the minute and layered everything up onto some Bazzill Pearl card.
I used a couple of doilys from my stash and used a Memory Box die called Honeysuckle Vine and cut it out with Kraft Card.
The die I used to stamp my image onto is from Sizzix called Tickets and I used the largest die and then drew around the outer edge and cut it out of my pink card to layer my image onto. Finished off with some pearls and flowers!

Spectrum Noir Colours Used:
Skin - FS2, FS3, FS6 & TN2
Dress & Scarf - PP3, PP4 & PP5
Hair - TN3, TN4, TN7 & TN8
Fence - EB2 & EB3
Dog - TN2, TN3, TN5, TN7, TN8 & EB5
Jacket & Hat - TN2, TN4 & TN6
Cardi - CR11, DR5 & DR7

A Close up!

My next card is an easel card made up from the Decoupage Section on the Paintbox Poppets CD and using the backing papers from the original CD. I used my Die'sire Grace Frame and distressed the edges using Victorian Velvet Distress Ink Pad.
Next I printed off one of the gorgeous ribbon borders as my stopper and decoupaged a couple more of the roses onto it. Lastly I added some flowers!

Having to pinch myself as this is my 1st POTW launch and have sat so many times watching and wishing that I could be on the CC DT Team and still can't believe that I am!

Thank you so much for stopping by, please feel free to leave a comment as I love to read them!

Crisalis Classics Sneak Peak - Day 3

Hi everyone!! Well less than 24 hours to go before we see the lovely Leann from Crafter's Companion on Create & Craft with the launch of 2 stunning CDs, Crisalis Classics and Paintbox Poppets! It's going to be Pick of the Week and it all kicks off at 12 Noon!

Difficult to choose what to show you today so have decided on 3 cards!

My 1st and 2nd one I have made using the Toppers section on both CD's, Wondering what to do with an A5 image I made them into Pictures to stand anywhere really! This image is from the Crisalis CD. I made up the box which I got from Franki's Crafty Touch and edged it with some Centura Pearl Pastel Card stock and attached a stand at the back. I put a sheet of acetate through my E-Bosser using the 8x8 Regency Frame Embossalicious Folder to give a lovely effect. (Don't use acetate that is too thick or too thin!) I then decorated the picture with elements from the CD, added a flower using the Blissful Flower Die and edge with peel offs.

This next picture was made using one of the Toppers from the new Paintbox Poppets CD. Same idea and this time I used 6x6 Regal Corner Embossalicious Folder. Again I decorated the picture with elements from the CD.

My final card was made using the Card Companions scetion of the Crisalis CD.
I distressed all the edges with a Wild Honey Distress Ink Pad and matted and layered onto Gold Mirri, used some peel offs around the edge and elements from the CD. Lastly I attached a Heart Epiphany which is hanging freely by the ribbon!

So looking forward to seeing my cards on TV, still cannot believe I am part of the Crafter's Companion DT Team! They are all mega talented, please pop by their blogs and see their work as it is stunning!

Will have another card tomorrow....or 2!!!!

Sneek Peek of Crisalis Classics - Day 2

Here is my 2nd Sneek Peek! I have used one of the fabulous stamps to create my card!

Have to be honest here, this is the first time I have ever made a wedding card!
I used Centura Pearl Card in the Pastels to matt and layer onto along with some dotted card stock which I have. I used one of the Die'sire Border Dies - Lace Border 1 and layered it a couple of times and added a little pearl border from my stash! Next I cut the sentiment with my Die'sire Magic Mirror Die and added some flowers and my Memory Box, Precious Hearts die to finish off! I coloured the bride in with my Spectrum Noirs and layered her up onto a scalloped circle die and inked very lightly around the edges!

Spectrum Noir Colours Used:
Skin - FS1, FS2, FS3, FS6 & TN2
Dress - PP1, PP2, PP5, IG1 & IG2
Hair - EB2, EB3 & EB8
Veil - PP2
Flowers - PP1, PP2, PP4, PP5 & DG2

My 1st card is from the Card Companion section from the new Paintbox Poppets CD. Isn't this image just gorgeous!

For my base card I used Centura Pearl card stock - Darks and made a 6x6 card. Then all I really did to this card was distress almost every edge with Vintage Photo and added some pearls, which I coloured in with my speccies to match the card and then added the Number 3 of from the CD and some ribbon.
