Paintbox Poppets Winter - 'Christmas Miss'

Oh what an awful wet miserable August Bank Holiday!!!!! No change to the usual I guess!

 

This card took me a bit of time to do, it was the colouring of the image with my speccies so I hope I have done it justice!  I have used the new Crafters Companion Paintbox Poppets Winter CD and one of the stamps "Christmas Miss".  I got the idea for the card from Sara on one of her shows using the insert on the outside of the card, added a bit of glitter and some edge dies for the Die-sire range, a sentiment, embellishment from the CD and a few gems!

I choose Paintbox Poppets seeing as though there is a new Xmas Paintbox Poppets CD out this week as a Pick of the Week on Create & Craft!

Kept it quite simple by using one of the gorgeous die cut Paintbox Poppets decoupage and a bit of matting and layering with papers from the CD. Used a border from Die'sire range from Crafters Companion and then added a sentiment and a flower from my crafty stash with a couple of pearls!

Mulberry Wood - Purr-fect Christmas!

Think I'm on a roll, I think!!! Here's my next stamped card from the Mulberry Wood range, just adore these kittens are they just the cutest!!!!

I have used 6x6 card this time and matted and layered onto just some dark green cardstock and used my X-Cut Scalloped Square die in the centre to get another layer to put my stamped image onto!

Coloured in with my trusty speccies and added some glitter.  I found some ribbon which matched perfectly and I think I only had to cut a couple of inches for either side! I stamped the sentiment which you get on the stamp sheet and coloured in all with IG2 and then added a couple of red glitzy snowflakes.

Got a bit daring in my picture and took a close up!!! Oh er!!! Hope you like it

Mulberry Wood - Merry & Bright

Thanks for popping in to see my new creation! I have spent the last couple of days on it so hope you like it!

I have used Mulberry Woods Stamped Image - Merry & Bright, isn't he so adorable with his little friend.  I have coloured him in using my trusty "Speccies" not used them in a while so had to get back used to blending!! IG1 has decided to run out on me so will have to get a refill, got it stood on its end to drain every last drop though before I do!!!

I have used Core'dinations and a beautiful backing paper from the CD on my 8x8 card.  The die I have used is one of the brand spanking new ones from the Die'Sire range from Crafter's Companion called "Enchanted Spring" when you cut the die the centre is just perfect to stamp an image onto.  I cut it twice once on red (I cut the centre out of my base layer of core'dinations so not to waste!) and then white (neenah card), thought it gave a great effect!  I have then used "Scalloped Tags" die as there are 2 perfect dies in the pack for your sentiments to be stamped, I have drawn around the die and cut it out so it layered up perfectly.

I added a couple of gems, some silver glittered snowflakes, glitter was added also to my coloured image and a piece of red ribbon!  I want to make more now using my stamps, forgot how good colouring in is!!

Morehead - Cat in a Teapot!

Well this is my attempt at a card using the new Morehead CD.  I'm saying "attempt" as all my inspiration for making a card has gone down the plughole!!!! Just cannot seem to get back into making a card for some reason, I want to but just can't!!!

To make this I have used some purple card out of my stash just to matt and layer with the gorgeous backing paper and then decoupaged the little cat in the teapot, which is so cute!

I found some paper of which I have no idea where I got it from but it changes colour, this sheet is golds and purples, I have other sheets which are pinks and purples. 

I have used one of the sentiments and then used a die from Memory Box called "Valencia Border" and then just added a few card candi!

I know it's quite basic and to be honest I'm not really sure if I like it!

Will see what this week brings! :-)
