Pink & Purple Flora!

Hi everyone, thanks so much for popping by! First must let you know that I am feeling a whole lot better. Have so many tablets to take mind you I should be! LOL!!!! They should be coming to an end soon though!

Blimey snow in October, who'd of ever thought, thankfully not been too bad here but seeing pics on Facebook last night it looked really bad in places!
Hope your all wrapped up with your heating on enjoying your crafting!!!

My card today is Flora in stamping form this time! I do love her, hence my second card with her! LOL!!!
I have gone for A5 Landscape this time, shocked myself actually as always use square card but the new border dies from CC just had to be used this way!!! I have used Die'sire Lace Border 5. I have used Bazzill card stock and used an EK Success Border Punch of which I threaded pink ribbon through. I then used this beautiful backing paper from the Toreads CD. Next I used Nestabilities Labels Twenty Two to stamp my image of Flora and then coloured her with Spectrum Noirs! Edged the die with purple to give a soft look and then put some glitter round her hair crown!

My embellishments are flowers made up from the CD with a brad in the centre, a birthday sentiment also from the CD and then I used a gorgeous corner die from the Ornamental Flower Frame and then added some tiny purple gems here and there!

Sugar Nellie - Santa With Tree!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all well and thank you for visiting my blog!

Still not over my trapped nerve, had to go back to the docs on Friday who gave me 3 different tablets to take, one being Diazepam, again! So just soldiering on!!! Have to be honest it's not as bad (as not laid flat out, LOL!) but still got the pain in my head and in my shoulder and arm!

Well here is my new card.  I have made it for my friend Franki who has her own craft shop and it is for a demo card in her shop.  She let me have this gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp of whose stamps I have never used, isn't it brill!!

To make this I used 8x8 scalloped card and matted and layered silver mirri and used backing paper from Humphrey's Corner Jingle Bells CD (twin pack) Next added some red crispy ribbon from Franki's shop!

I then embossed a sheet of Core'dinations using a Crafts Too Snowflake folder. Next I stamped my image onto an X-Cut Nestie die and coloured my image using Spectrum Noir pens and added some glitter.  To finish off I used Memory Box Frosty Border Die and a Marianne Creatables Snowflake and added from my Paintbox Poppets Yuletide Stamps a fantastic circled date and encapsulated this into a Round Epiphany - isn't it fab, coloured it too with my Speccies to match. Oh then a few Card Candi!!!

Colours Used:
Santa - DR1, 5, 7
Tree & Holly - JG1, 2, 4
Face - FS2, 3, TN2, FS6 & Blender

Whoo Hoo my first card with Toreads - Flora! - CC October Challenge

Oh my what a week I have had! Since last Friday the 5th I have had the headache from hell, went to see a Doctor who said that I had a trapped nerve in my neck which was pulling on my membrane on the right of my head and gave me strong painkillers (Codine & Paracetamol).  I suffered so badly over the weekend the pain was excrutiating.

Monday I was back to the Docs, no make-up and hair not done that was how bad I was, he gave me Diclofenac and told me that taking Codine makes it worse and not to take anything else other than the Diclofenac!

Wednesday came, couldn't stand it anymore, didn't seem to work, so went back to the Doctors to be given Diazapam and was basically out of it till yesterday afternoon!!!!

It was my first time back on my PC on Saturday and had loads of e-mails!!!! I have been using my daughters I-Pad but only for a short time here and there to catch up with FaceBook as couldn't stand being away from craft!!!! Feeling a whole lot better today, I am so relieved, still a bit woosy but better!! Pain hasn't gone totally but can live with it!

Anyway just had to get on with a card with my new Toread CD which I won on the Crafter's Companion Blog Hop!!!!
So chuffed!!! So here it is!

Made using 8x8 scalloped card.  I have used Gold Mirri as my matting and layering and just had to use one of the gorgeous decoupage papers, I choose Flora as I love her cute face!  I cut out one of the border panels, these are fab by the way!

I then mounted this onto one of the beautiful backing papers!  I then added a few leaves from my Marianne Die, some Card Candi and then used my Magic Mirror Die'sire Die and mounted the sentiment onto it! Oh and then I added some tiny gems along the border!

Entered into Octobers Crafter's Companion Birthday Challenge

I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Would love to read you comments they make my day :-)
