Fireman Sam - Commissoned Card!

Well this was totally out of my comfort zone to do this card.  I was asked by a friend of mine through Facebook (who I haven't seen since school may I add!) to do a card for her Grandson who loves Fireman Sam!!!

I have used my new Serif CD to make my own background and borders from the Fireman Sam logo, took a bit of working out but got there in the end!
I then used the new Mimic CD to import Fireman Sam and Pyrimage him.
Used lots of blue Mirri card and then the letters are from Timmy Tiptoes CD - well Crafters Companion had to get in somewhere now didn't they!!!!!!
I then put some blue tissue paper in the box, just a little finishing touch!

Off to see her tomorrow for a bit of a catch up, she's bought Eclairs so could be a while!! LOL!!!!
I hope she likes it!!!

Thanks for stopping by!

Benjamin Bunny - 2nd card!

Not been a nice day today, went to a car boot this morning as lovely and sunny, not been there half an hour and the heavens opened, never seen so many people trying to pack there stuff away so quickly and people running everywhere!!! Oh well always next week!

Was in the Benjamin Bunny mood so thought I would make another!
The card I used is 8x8 scalloped (my favourite at the minute!)
For this one I used Core-dinations card out of the "Classy Red" selection. Then I used one of the backing papers and then printed off one of the Card Companion sheets and added my own bits to it!
The borders I have backed onto edgeabilities and backed Benjamin onto a Picot Edge Circle nestie.
I then matted and layered the sentiments and added a few card candi!

Thanks for looking :-)

CC Challenge 23 - 4 Legged Friend - Benjamin Bunny

Got my new Benjamin Bunny CD out for a bit of a play!
Have used one of the new Beatrix Potter Embossing folders and decoupaged Benjamin in the middle.
I found some brown textured paper from a paper pack going back a while that I got from Crafters Companion so I used this along with one of the beautiful backing papers and printed 2 styles of borders of different colours on top of each other.
Next I printed off one of the flowers and decoupaged it up from the "Strawberry Kisses" CD!
I then added the Happy Birthday sentiment from "The Tale of Two Bad Mice" CD and glazed a few printed buttons to finish off! Forgot to say the card size is 8x8 Scalloped!

Thanks for popping by and taking a look! :-)

Faerie Poppets - Sweet Baby Lily

This was a quick card I made today, well I say quick it didn't take as long as usual!!!
I had already made up the die cut decoupage from the Faerie Poppet Die Cut pack so it was a matter of what to use with it!  The card blank is a 6x6 Hunkydory Dotty Square which I got a pack of from the Art Shop on Saturday and with them being quite fancy I didn't want the bits on the card to be too much (if you know what I mean!)

So it was just a simple bit of matting and layering onto silver mirri with a chocolate box bow, sentiment and a few gems!

Can't believe it's back to work tomorrow! Had a lovely relaxing weekend though, pity about the weather but that's bank holidays for you!!!

Thanks for popping by :-)

Paintbox Poppets Tealight Card & Box

Phew!!!! Can't believe I have managed to make this delightful Tealight card in a box using the Paintbox Poppets CD. I followed Louise Welsh's instructions on the Crafter's Companion Website you must view Louise's blog she makes gorgeous cards and I mean gorgeous!!!!!

Not going to lie it did take me a while but I suppose things always do when you haven't done it before! Unfortunately my printer doesn't take Centura Pearl card so had to measure my papers but quite like the effect of the white border around the edges.  I coloured in using Speccies and had a little lesson from Louise the other week on how to do shading on the dress (need more practice!!) but isn't the little girl adorable!
Not sure who it is for but I just so wanted to make one and I totally loved making it! Will add the greetings once I know who its for!!!!

If you haven't already made one, please, please, please pop over to view the project. Louise has done an excellent job on explaining how to make this fabulous gift and you don't have to put tealights in, it could be sweeties instead!!!!!!
Hope everyone has had a fab Easter and not eaten too many eggs!

Thanks for taking the time to pop over :-)

Paintbox Poppets Framed Card

Now for my 2nd card tonight!!! But before I go on what was very naughty of me not saying on my first post of Paintbox Poppets was that I won this fabulous CD from Lis Murphy, one of the Crafters Companion's Design Team Members. Please pop over and have a look at her cards, they are beautiful!

Right here we go, I made this frame up literally as soon as my PC was up and running but has just been on the side, unfinished!!! Was just about to go to bed when my other half decided to put his "Skyrim" game on!! (Gamers out there will know what I am on about) so I decided to come back to my crafty area and finish this off - how good am I! LOL!!!

I have made it into an easel card using a sheet of backing paper from the Paintbox Poppets CD and then some pink core'dinations (again) and then used the new stamps with the wording from Paintbox Poppets which are absolutely brilliant!!!! Made a simple stopper and added a few Card Candi, a ribbon and voila!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! :-)

Faerie Poppets - Rospetal Faeries!

Here's the first of 2 cards that I have made over the last couple of weeks, this first one was made while my PC was broke and I thought well I can't print and cut so I know I'll use my die-cut decoupage!  I was very lucky to have this bought for me from my dear friend,
Patricia, how lucky am I!!!!!

This shape of card was new in at Franki's Crafty Touch so I bought the 8x8 and 6x6! I have used pink core'dinations, a backing sheet from the Paintbox CD (thankfully one that I had printed matched!) and then used an embossing folder and the Rospetal Faeries along with a sentiment, roses and gems! Oh and rounded all the edges to give a softer look!

Thanks for taking the time to look it's very much appreciated!! :-)
