OMG, I knew it that the Pick of the Day would sell out of the fantastic new launch of
Party Paws!
If you didn't manage to get a hold of it they do still have the Blockbuster!
Here is my card today and my very 1st tutorial on how to make it!
You will need the following:
2 sheets of A4 Centura Pearl card
Sheet of Core'dinations
Sheet of Backing Paper from CD
Darice Hearts Embossing Folder
Sand It Gadget & Dust Buddy
Sizzix Scalloped Hearts Die
Party Paws Stamp & Sentiment
Decoration for your card
Spectrum Noirs
Score and fold a sheet of Centura card in half
Next attach the largest heart to the Centura and secure in place.
Making sure there is a slight gap at at the top so that your card will fold in half.
Use your Die-cutting machine to cut your shape. You may have to put it through a couple of times as it is going through double thickness of Centura.
Open your card so you have the Pearl side facing upwards and score about half way down the top heart and fold towards you.
Next cut another large heart from your 2nd sheet of Centura along with 2 smaller hearts and emboss these with your Darice Embossing Hearts Folder.
Cut 2 large hearts from your backing paper and glue these to your card remembering to trim the top of your backing paper heart where the fold is. Then glue your heart to the card, so you end up with this.
Next use your Sand It Gadget and Dust Buddy to reveal the hidden core on your Core'dinations and glue your hearts to your card, like this.
Your next step is to colour your image and cut around leaving a white edge.
Spectrum Noir Colours Used:
Panda Paws & Ears - IG5, IG7 & IG9
Panda Face - IG1 & IG2 & Blender, PP1 Cheeks
Heart - CR11, DR5 & DR7
Half way through colouring I decided to do 2 hearts so I could decoupage. There is no need to blend too much on image underneath as only going to see the edges. Use Collal glue to raise your heart.
Next make your stopper so your card stands nicely using Collall glue. I have used a smaller heart which fit nicely over my sentiment and coloured in with my Spectrum Noirs using DR1.
Decorate the rest of your card as you wish.

Hope you have enjoyed my very 1st Tutorial and would love to hear what you think of it!
