Paintbox Poppets Framed Card

Now for my 2nd card tonight!!! But before I go on what was very naughty of me not saying on my first post of Paintbox Poppets was that I won this fabulous CD from Lis Murphy, one of the Crafters Companion's Design Team Members. Please pop over and have a look at her cards, they are beautiful!

Right here we go, I made this frame up literally as soon as my PC was up and running but has just been on the side, unfinished!!! Was just about to go to bed when my other half decided to put his "Skyrim" game on!! (Gamers out there will know what I am on about) so I decided to come back to my crafty area and finish this off - how good am I! LOL!!!

I have made it into an easel card using a sheet of backing paper from the Paintbox Poppets CD and then some pink core'dinations (again) and then used the new stamps with the wording from Paintbox Poppets which are absolutely brilliant!!!! Made a simple stopper and added a few Card Candi, a ribbon and voila!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!! :-)

Faerie Poppets - Rospetal Faeries!

Here's the first of 2 cards that I have made over the last couple of weeks, this first one was made while my PC was broke and I thought well I can't print and cut so I know I'll use my die-cut decoupage!  I was very lucky to have this bought for me from my dear friend,
Patricia, how lucky am I!!!!!

This shape of card was new in at Franki's Crafty Touch so I bought the 8x8 and 6x6! I have used pink core'dinations, a backing sheet from the Paintbox CD (thankfully one that I had printed matched!) and then used an embossing folder and the Rospetal Faeries along with a sentiment, roses and gems! Oh and rounded all the edges to give a softer look!

Thanks for taking the time to look it's very much appreciated!! :-)

Jeremy Fisher - Hexagon Easel Card

Here's a quick card made from the Jeremy Fisher CD, I printed off the Easel Page but thought the card was too small so I used my Crafters Companion Christmas Embossing Board as there is a Hexagon shape on there to make it bigger!  I used backing papers from the CD, Core'dinations, stamped the sentiment and the fish and then used some Card Candi for embellishments.

Thanks for looking :-)

Paintbox Poppets Box Card!

Another post! - 2 in a day, OMG!  I am trying to make up really for lack of blogging!!

Here's a card I have made today using Paintbox Poppets again!  I got the idea of the card design shape from Franki of Franki's Crafty Touch. It is made from a sheet of A3 card and when made fits it an 8x8 envelope which I have made using the Enveloplus so its all matching!!!

I used Pink Core'dinations quite a bit as you can see and punched the edges using an EK Success Border Punch "Dots and Swirls".  I have used the decoupage from the CD and added a couple of sentiments, flowers and gems!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look! :-)

Paintbox Poppets - 1st card

Been ages since I posted I know, it's just my PC decided to give up on me last Sunday and I am still waiting on a new part!! Luckily though my daughter has let me use her laptop but I had problems trying to upload my pictures from my phone but have now finally got it to work!!!

So here is my 1st card from the new Crafters Companion CD - Paintbox Poppets! It is such an adorable CD I think me and everyone out there who has got it - Love it!!!!  I had a couple of crafty hours with my friend Franki from Franki's Crafty Touch near where I live and with both made a card in under 2 hours, unheard from me, it usually takes me a lot longer!!!
The card is now sitting proud along side Franki's at her shop as "demo" cards, hope you all like it :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Liebster Award

Oh my, what a surprise!!!  The lovely Donka has awarded me the Liebster award - Thank you so much!!!!

The idea of the LIEBSTER BLOG AWARD is to spread the love from one small blog (under 200 followers) to other small blogs. This helps to spread the knowledge and readership.

To accept the award, you must:
  1. Link back to the person who gave it and to thank them for thinking of you.
  2. Post the award to your blog.
  3. Give the award to 5 bloggers (with less than 200 followers) that you appreciate and value.
  4. Leave a comment on the blogs of the five people you have chosen to let them know. ‘Liebster’ in German means ‘dearest, so to carry on the Liebster tradition, I am going to pass this award on to 5 people whose blogs have been an inspiration to me.
