Something a little different!

I was given a little project to do from Franki at Franki's Crafty Touch as part of her 10% off Card Club that she has!

A little different from my usual cards but thought I would give it a go and here it is!! In the pack there was a blank card and envelope, 2 butterflies, sheet of acetate and gems. I love the butterflies, not sure what has been used to cut them out but will find out and I have gone over them with a shimmer ink pad using foam. The paper I have used is from the Strawberry Kisses CD and a couple of peel offs and a sentiment!

Crafters Companion Challenge 20 - Love is in the Air!

Thought I would have a go at entering the latest Crafters Companion Challenge and what better way to do it than with the new Strawberry Kisses range.

I have made this card on 8x8 and used the papers from the CD.  Yet another first I have done is by using the hearts embossing folder and sanding the top, loving the effect! I stamped the image "Together" onto neenah and coloured it in with Speccies.

Don't Snow and Pup look so cute!!! 

I then used a few embellishments in way of the flowers and ribbon strip from the CD (so easy to make and so effective) and a bow.

Strawberry Kisses - Flower Power

It was my birthday the other day and I got some fab pressies, one being more Specci Pens!!! Yay!!! I also got more fab Core'dinations card and the Clevercut Maxi which I can't wait to play with!!!

My card today is "Flower Power" I have made this on a 6x6 scalloped card. I used core'dinations for matting and layering onto along with the gorgeous backing paper from the CD. I used a circle nestie and stamped Snow in her plant pot - she is so cute!! Need more practice colouring in, just hope I get there!

For the embellishments I have used the marvellous card candi faux brads and my FIRST handmade bow, triple bow may I add!!!! WOW so easy to do so will be making more in future. Also a first is adding flowers, got these from my local craft shop - Franki's Crafty Touch whom some of you may of heard of on Facebook!! Thanks Franki for the tips on how to use them, they're great!

Strawberry Kisses - Birthday Kitten

OMG The new Strawberry Kisses Range from Crafters Companion is a definate must-have!!

The CD and stamps sets are gorgeous!!!!

Didn't know which one to start with but choose Snow and the cake eventually!!

I have printed out one of the Stamp Companions sheets onto Neenah Card and then stamped up the "Birthday Kitten" image. I coloured in using the Spectrum Noirs and to get the background of hundreds and thousands I used my Whisper Pens so it matched in with the colours. 

I then mounted this onto Core'dinations paper from the So-Mod Collection and added a few embellishments. Made on 6x6 scalloped card stock.

So here is my first card - Hope you like it!!

1st Card of the Year!! SWALK

This is my 1st card of the year using the SWALK range. 

I have used the 1st SWALK CD for the backing paper and the image is from the 4th Volume of stamps 

"The Present".

I coloured in the image using my Spectrum Noir pens and edged the Scalloped Square nestie with some pink glitter.  I got a great tip from Bev Rochester's blog to draw around the edge of my nestie to get another layer, bit of a tricky one to cut out but I did it! Will defintely use this tip a lot!! Then I added some Card Candi and the sentiments. I made this card 6x6.

Quite a quick and easy card to make! Hope you like it!

SWALK - Winter Cheer - 1st 2 Cards

Hi Everyone!!! OMG I just love this set of SWALK Winter Cheer images.  Only recently got into stamping with the Humphrey Range but when I saw this I just had to have it!!!

I have made 2 easel cards, the first is probably mine and nearly everyone else out there that has this stamp, my favourite!!  First off I stamped the image "Warm Heart" onto Neenah card and coloured in using the fabulous Spectrum Noir pens!!! I then used my Nestablities Label Twenty Three Die for the gorgeous topper.  I printed the backing papers off from the Winter Cheer CD and embellished with ribbon and buttons also from the CD then added the sentiments and extras from the "Warm Heart" stamp set with a touch of glitter!

My next easel card is made from the "Shop till you Drop" stamp set.  Again I have stamped the image onto Neenah card and pretty much did the same again using this time a flower from the CD which are so easy to make up! Oh and I also put a bit of glitter around the sentiment.
