Here goes, my last day at the fabulous Craftaganza! Today was all about "speed crafting" and by heck you had to be quick!!!!

First off our group which I forgot to mention were the "Brilliant Blues" were with Clare Hamer and we made another fabulous card using the amazing E-Bosser!

Next up was Sarah Millsop and we made a Shambala Bracelet, again not finished but I will finish it as totally loved doing this, it just took a bit of time to get the knots right!!!

Next we were off to Nigel May's class! We made a card from the Card Companions from his new CD which is coming out soon!!! He's a lovely guy and he even signed all our cards!!

Lots of fun was had in his class and we had a group photo taken too!

After lunch it was straight off to Leann Chivers class where we coloured in with Spectrum Noirs!  We were given sheets to practice on for the Accreditation Award.
So glad I have mine!!!

Next up was Sara Davies and we made a "Peek-a-Boo" card! So glad to be shown how to make it, we all loved it!!!

Lastly was Louisa McClean and we were paper folding again to make a Christmas Tree this time sprayed with Spray & Sparkle!

Hope you have enjoyed looking at my makes!
I had an absolutely fantastic time, roll on Craftaganza 2013!!!!

Craftaganza 2012 - Day 2

Here is what I got up to on day 2 at the fabulous Craftaganza!

First class today was with fabulous Leann and it was colouring with Spectrum Noirs and making a card. I absolutely love this card and Leann showed us how to do chocolate box bows - I think that all DT cards will have these on from now on as we all loved them!!!!

Funny thing happened, we were all busy making our cards and I went to get my topper which I had fabulously coloured in (LOL!!) and couldn't find it, then spotted Caroline (another DT member) who I was sat next too had only half inched it and had inked the edges and had matted and layered it too and was onto her last cut, it was so funny! Well saved me a heap of time I can tell you, thanks Caroline!!!
Here is the finished card!

Next class was with the one and only Sara and we made a Stationery Case!

There was a lot of scoring and folding but got instructions now so should be able to do one "all be myself"!!  As you can see it's not quite finished but I will complete, it's on my to do pile!!!

The last class of the day was with the lovely Louisa and we made a wreath made of cones - well some of us did!!!! I just couldn't get my cones all the same, just wanted it to look perfect! Louise did try to help but I failed, miserably! Here's what I ended up with, still a load to roll!!!

On the evening it was party time at the Aston Hotel, was totally shocked when I was awarded a certificate for being the "biggest crafting perfectionist" all because of those cones, I'll be dreaming about them!!! LOL!!! I was presented my certificate by Simon, Sara's hubby, OMG I was so emotional!

Then we had a special guest Mr Nigel May!!! It's was A-May-Zing!!!! He did a "This is your Life" and we learnt such a lot about him, we now know he has a tattoo on his bum! LOL!!!
 Here's a picture of us!

Well thats it for now, final day tomorrow!
Thanks for popping by!

Craftaganza 2012 - Day 1

Have had the most awesome time ever at the Crafter's Companion Craftaganza which ran over 3 days! I'm totally exhausted!!! I know these aren't in date order but better late than never!

The first day was Thursday and the first class we had was with Claire Hamer and we used the amazing E-Bossers!!!!! We had to share which didn't go down well, we all wanted one each! LOL! We made this, totally love it and have it hanging in my "crafty area". We used the fabulous new Die'sire dies and quilling flowers.

Next class was with Sarah Millsop and we made a necklace and earring set, well nearly, I made half the necklace but promise to finish it, just took so long to get the hang of making loops, I was loopy by the time it ended!! LOL!!! But did manage the earrings!!!!

The last class of the day was with Sheena Douglass, what a laugh she is!!! and I made this!! Pretty impressed with myself I have to say.  We used Luminarte paints which were awesome! Added some stamps, embossed it, a bit of tearing and voi-la!!!!

Will be back with more!!!
Thanks for popping by!

Mark's Birthday!

Hi everyone, hope you are all okay and thanks so much for popping by!

Something different today!  It was my other half's birthday yesterday and he was 40!!!  I made him these 2 cards, one from me and one from my daughter, Ashleigh.  He likes my cards but just not his style so I used my Serif programme to make these!  Have to say when he opened them he was chuffed to bits and said you won't find these in a card shop! He even took a photo of them on his phone so he must of liked them.  Was so pleased as it took forever and a day to find the right images!!!!

The one from me!
His favourite group - Blink 182!

The one from Ashleigh!
One of his favourite cars from his favourite film - Smokey & The Bandit!

Thanks for popping by, love to read your comments!

Will be putting up some Celebratory Blog Candy in my next post, just got to work out how to do Mister Linky as never done it before!!!!

Mulberry Wood - Birthday card for Aunty!

Hi Everyone, hope you are well! I'm still getting there, on a new tablet now called "Gabapentin"!!!

My card today is for my other halfs Aunty who lives in London, it's her birthday on Tuesday so need to get it off in the post tomorrow!!

I have used a stamp from the Mulberry Wood Everyday Range, it's called "Friend" but as you can see you can use it for other occasions and I have coloured him in using my Spectrum Noir Pens (of course)!  I have used Core'dinations and used an embossing folder, Petit Dot to give a different effect. I used backing paper from the Mulberry Wood CD for the card and insert. The die I have used is a Nestabilities called Eyelet Squares.  I have added some glitzy pink ribbon through the die which I thought gave a nice effect (not fully through mind you as didn't want to waste it!!). Next I added a sentiment from the same stamp plate and just cut freehand and layered up, coloured too with Speccies! Then a couple of punched flowers from my stash and added some pearls.

Spectrum Noir Colours Used:
Dog - TN2,3 & 4
Ears - EB2, 3 & 5
Flowers - PP3, 4 & 5
Daisy - IG2, Blender, GB5
Leaf & Stem - DG1, 2 & 3
Ground - IG1, 2, 5 & Blender

My embellishments are flowers made up from the CD with a brad in the centre, a birthday sentiment also from the CD and then I used a gorgeous corner die from the Ornamental Flower Frame and then added some tiny purple gems here and there!

Sugar Nellie - Santa With Tree!

Hi Everyone! Hope you are all well and thank you for visiting my blog!

Still not over my trapped nerve, had to go back to the docs on Friday who gave me 3 different tablets to take, one being Diazepam, again! So just soldiering on!!! Have to be honest it's not as bad (as not laid flat out, LOL!) but still got the pain in my head and in my shoulder and arm!

Well here is my new card.  I have made it for my friend Franki who has her own craft shop and it is for a demo card in her shop.  She let me have this gorgeous Sugar Nellie stamp of whose stamps I have never used, isn't it brill!!

To make this I used 8x8 scalloped card and matted and layered silver mirri and used backing paper from Humphrey's Corner Jingle Bells CD (twin pack) Next added some red crispy ribbon from Franki's shop!

I then embossed a sheet of Core'dinations using a Crafts Too Snowflake folder. Next I stamped my image onto an X-Cut Nestie die and coloured my image using Spectrum Noir pens and added some glitter.  To finish off I used Memory Box Frosty Border Die and a Marianne Creatables Snowflake and added from my Paintbox Poppets Yuletide Stamps a fantastic circled date and encapsulated this into a Round Epiphany - isn't it fab, coloured it too with my Speccies to match. Oh then a few Card Candi!!!

Colours Used:
Santa - DR1, 5, 7
Tree & Holly - JG1, 2, 4
Face - FS2, 3, TN2, FS6 & Blender

Whoo Hoo my first card with Toreads - Flora! - CC October Challenge

Oh my what a week I have had! Since last Friday the 5th I have had the headache from hell, went to see a Doctor who said that I had a trapped nerve in my neck which was pulling on my membrane on the right of my head and gave me strong painkillers (Codine & Paracetamol).  I suffered so badly over the weekend the pain was excrutiating.

Monday I was back to the Docs, no make-up and hair not done that was how bad I was, he gave me Diclofenac and told me that taking Codine makes it worse and not to take anything else other than the Diclofenac!

Wednesday came, couldn't stand it anymore, didn't seem to work, so went back to the Doctors to be given Diazapam and was basically out of it till yesterday afternoon!!!!

It was my first time back on my PC on Saturday and had loads of e-mails!!!! I have been using my daughters I-Pad but only for a short time here and there to catch up with FaceBook as couldn't stand being away from craft!!!! Feeling a whole lot better today, I am so relieved, still a bit woosy but better!! Pain hasn't gone totally but can live with it!

Anyway just had to get on with a card with my new Toread CD which I won on the Crafter's Companion Blog Hop!!!!
So chuffed!!! So here it is!

Made using 8x8 scalloped card.  I have used Gold Mirri as my matting and layering and just had to use one of the gorgeous decoupage papers, I choose Flora as I love her cute face!  I cut out one of the border panels, these are fab by the way!

I then mounted this onto one of the beautiful backing papers!  I then added a few leaves from my Marianne Die, some Card Candi and then used my Magic Mirror Die'sire Die and mounted the sentiment onto it! Oh and then I added some tiny gems along the border!

Entered into Octobers Crafter's Companion Birthday Challenge

I hope you like it as much as I enjoyed making it!
Would love to read you comments they make my day :-)

Mulberry Wood Snowmen!

Phew what a day! Went to Teesside Park and did a bit of "treat" Shopping then got home and discovered that out fridge had been leaking! Found out it was the pipe that connects the fresh water that comes out the dispenser at the front, so we have had to move the fridge (it's massive!) and pull back the carpet to let it dry, so hence the heating is on full!!! Just thought you might think "why is the fridge on a carpet" it won't fit in the kitchen as too big so it is in the Dining Room, one day we will have the wall knocked through so a big kitchen diner...one day!!!!!

Onto my card, I have used the Mulberry Woods CD, what I first had in mind wasn't this!! About 10 pages later of printing this is how it ended up!! Oh well, lots of sheets already printed for later! Bet we all do it!!

I have used Silver Mirri card and then backing paper from the CD.  I used a 6x6 Embossilicious Folder onto So-Mod Core'dinations in blue. Next I printed off a sheet from the Card Companions Section on the CD and sprayed it with the Pink Iridescent Glitter Spray. I then cut out one of the fab snow globes, added a sentiment and then lots of silver glittered snowflakes!

Hope you like it! So looking forward to receiving my new Toreads CD! :-)

Thanks for popping by!
I so love to read all your comments! :-)
